I do have a minor amount of sympathy for Mehri, as he must've been given some sort of suggestion he would see out the season to have quit FR3.5 just last week.

Obviously though, he was getting an F1 drive for the cost of his own travel expenses so with Haas putting up some much needed money, he can't complain.

Just a tip I've used in 2008-2013. Walk the track Wednesday and Thursday night. Plenty of drivers cycling/jogging the track. I've met my fair share that way. Webber, Barichello, Button, Hamilton, Raikkonen... Trulli nearly ran me over at the old 11-12 chicane in 2009 while he was cycling.

It's almost funny, but despite apparent unity to produce faster cars in the future, they can't help but introduce technical directives that will ultimately make them slower. Pirelli are really going to have to get their act together for 2017.

I see it as possibly Pirelli showing teams why they should really want to allow Pirelli to test at end of year in Abu Dhabi, as if:

Hey guys! I'm going to see Singapore GP this weekend and i have a Premier walkabout ticket for the whole weekend, so do you have any suggestions to which part of the track i should go ? I already strolled through some parts of the zone 4, but did only find one decent looking place to see the cars ( turns 11&12) so is there some better places?

Cool, I can't help you obviously but wasn't some regular poster from that area?

- Lotus is not testing anything, they splashed flow-wiz to show off a new sponsor. I don't know how they got them, they probably showed them only Spa and they went: Is it always like this? L: Yes... S: Are you sure? L: Uhm 100% positive S: Fine, we're in.
- Button is grumpy = not a team player, get rid of him
- Fourth engine for Rosberg. Anyone still thinks championship is not decided by Hungary and engines failures? Meanwhile Merc co owner and non-executive something Lauda praises their brilliant reliability, can you believe that? Only in F1.
