Exhaust blown diffuser's might return

This link has been posted numerous times. But is it really possible?
As only the wastegate gases can be used to blow the diffuser i wondered whether those gases are enough to provide strong continuous sealing to the diffuser.
As i understand the wastegate is mostly closed. In these times drivers would feel the lack of downforce.
The extra rear traction will be most effective on low speed turn in, and low to medium speed exist. The former may not be achievable without off throttle diffuser blowing. At traction limited events at corner exist, exhaust recovery is already compromised because the engine is not burning the full 100kg/h of fuel, so the losses from not recoverying during this time are smaller anyway. Furthermore, the most efficient exhaust harvesting one can have is to have 100% WOT time, and increasing the rear downforce on corner exist will increase the WOT percentage per lap. Each traction limited event out of corner exist will last maybe a maximum of 1-2s and each lap may only 5 such areas.
This of course assumes they are harvesting during corner exist at all, in reality they are probably spinning the turbo with the MGU-H to counter turbo lag during these events, so they wouldn't losing anything at all.
