Grand Slam for Ros? Think so.

Good job by him! Solid drive!
Bit weird with the Mercedes stop, they had the win secured regardless if Hamilton would have blown his tires.
A shame when you have one race strategist, second place guy always have to do what the first guys does.
I think we would have seen a lot more interesting racing if both sides of the team was totally free to make their own race strategy.

Yea, he can't take much from it, Lewis was all over his butt.
There's a lot to take from it: He just lost the world title and should really be down and beaten but secured a hat-trick this weekend, and his team-mate also had mediocre pace in Austin and Russia.

If Nico is able to somehow win the remaining three races I will be very concerned for next year and I'm sure Lewis would be too.

Rosberg has Hamilton at arms length all weekend but can't take much from it because Hamilton still finished 2nd in a two car race?

I love to see drivers with a little balls to challenge their teams.

"Check Nico's tyres, mine feel fine"
If Ham had stayed a few more laps out he could have pitted for softs and also the Safety Car came a few laps later lol that would have ruined some plans...

Queue iotar_ claiming most dominant win of the season
- Third to be precise after Austria and Spain but who cares? Win is a win.
- So if that was a race set up how slow was Hamilton today? Unless of course we can forget about another excuse for being slower yesterday
- Queue fanatics with excuses and clutching at straws, oh wait it's already happening. No, Rosberg was comfortably quicker on 1,2 15 or zero pitstop race.
- As always it's not about who was quicker or won (can go either way) but the amount of BS fiction surrounding it.

Nope. Monza was easily the most dominant drive of this season.

Who cares? Well seemingly you, because you use it after every race win by Nico to try and downplay Hamilton's achievements and credentials as a world champion.

Solid performance by Rosberg, had enough to keep Hamilton at a safe distance all race.
Weird change of tactics by Mercedes.
Lucky break for Williams, Bottas must feel pretty good today lol.
Shocker for Vettel, bad start, unforced mistakes...

It doesn't matter. As a matter of principle as the years have gone by the FIA has specifically been making rule changes to get rid of the influence of teams on their drivers while on track. If Hamilton thinks he can make it without a pit then let Nico make the decision if he thinks he can make the end of the race on his current tyres.

Let the racers race.

*Edit* good job Nico, you handled the pressure from Hamilton quite well.

And if Hamilton didn`t pit and his tyre blow out 5-6 laps before the end you will be here raging how Mercedes ruined Hamilton`s race and favoured Nico.
No he[we] wouldn't, because it was his own choice. He did ask to check Rosberg's tires to see how much they had left in em.
Hamilton should have asked to stay out a few laps longer and take on softs. Of course then he would get to pit right with the safety car and probably pass Ros and that would have been fun.
Otherwise they should have been allowed to race, Ham had his two laps advantage on the medium tires and we'd see who could manage by the end of the race.

You know exactly what I mean! Every racer, rather it's a car, a boat, a plane, or on foot, knows their is a big difference between winning and winning comfortably. Based on Nico's request for the team to be quiet over the radio, he was anything but comfortable.

So Lauda now said it's a team decision and both drivers have to comply, that the wear was too high for one stop - meanwhile Perez and Bottas both did 40+ laps easily

So much for open racing after both titles are in the bag. The question for me is whether Rosberg wanted that pitstop or not (ofc it would have been unfair if Rosberg was forced to pit as well, even though he had older tyres, we don't have the team radio for him...yet) - i presume that if the WDC had been still open Lewis would not have pitted

btw did Nico win time after the restart with his mistake?

This is some form of super duper advanced trolling where the joke is so subtle that it's almost impossible to distinguish isn't it :?
