Ferrari 667 Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

IIRC the same thing happened at Mercedes a few years ago
Exactly! I remember that very well. It was for the unveiling of their 2013 car (W04)

Ah yes, the one where a certain amount of retweeting would allow a part of the garage door to open, revealing parts of the car or the complete car. Something I #readysetfled from too (yes, I'm going to use this childish hashtag until the Ferrari car gets revealed!).

Well anyway......I'm currently first on the leaderboard (at the time of this post) and holy ---, It was seriously a lot of hard work with many hours of tweeting ferrari related pics.
Also, twitter has in built spam prevention and I literally have had to type a few words for every post I made.

I do hope to still be in the top 10 at the end of this event though. Wish me luck.

i understand that under 2016 rules you can test a 2014 car...before it had to be more than 2 years old....so a good chance for them to test new vs old fuel, maybe software changes etc.

Autosport quoting: 'a Scuderia spokesperson has informed Autosport is "a correlation test with the simulator".

I guess there's logic in this; still, good point that no one has mentioned fuel or lubricants/software. Would be interesting to know if this prohibited and/or tested.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

People are complaining quite a lot. Ferrari created such a hype for nothing...

Now motorsport: http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/techn ... es-668712/

Is commenting on the potential changes to the Ferrari power unit. One thing that stuck out for me was the mention of going to up 300 bar pressure. I'm sure I read someone on here say that everyone wishes to get closer to 500, however, later in the article it talks about 500 bar pressure for the injectors, so I guess the 300 bar pressure in the combustion chamber is different.
