All that's left is the calm before the storm, on the reveal date everyone will lose their shirt over the car. But then testing will reveal they're still on average 1 second down, and everyone will pat themselves on the back. They'll think surely McLaren can devolop their way out of the deficit.

I think it is safe to expect a Ferrari like 2014-2015 jump in PU sustained output.

It will be interesting to see how the chassis performs. The chassis seemed just better than average last year. With PP in from the start on the design, I expect the rear suspension to change. There was likely no thought of using the 'air brakes' at the rear at any design stage.

And as for the nose, the 2015 nose update was basically the Red Bull version.

Hard to judge the chassis at all with a below par power unit, but I expect the new chassis to follow a few more red bull trends when revealed.
