I presume they'll just be using a show car (probably the 2015 Lotus) for the presentation if they're showing off the new livery...

Presentations don't say a lot unless they show the car in the pitlane of Winter testing. Mclaren used to present their car online or in the MTC. What it showed was just a rather clean car with basic wing configuration or bits and pieces of last season's car. We can only expect what the car will be like when it rolls down the pitlane on day 1 of Winter testing.

I think the car could have a livery like the Formula Renault 2.0 car, as in the following picture. (the car in the middle, 1st row )

Looks like just behind the roll hoop looking forward. I can just make out one airflow vane below the roll hoop.

*Edit* I think I can also just make out the kinks in the bodywork that lead toward the ears next to the roll hoop used on the 2015 car.

Maybe it is a 2015 car with different logos/paint done for advertising like this.

I don't think so.

Based on the renders it seems that the car is black with some yellow apointments.

That car is grey, but who knows...

Oh right! Forgot about this:

Once we have good high res pictures of the new car, we will close this thread and open up the official car thread! That means from that point on:

-No more speculation
-Strict rules on topic relevance: only about the car's hardware, with PU talk in the PU topic.
-No more talk about the livery.

Now it can very well be we aren't getting to see a new car today (we'll know that within 20-3 minutes). In that case, this topic with its looser rules will stay open of course.
