What else do everyone always expect? FFS, you all spend too much time in the fantasy livery thread. How a car is painted these days is a business decision and not a work of art or a paintjob in any way inspired by imagination. Just look at Mclaren, grey on grey with a squirt of ketchup. That's just Ron Dennis himself in the form of a livery.

Sooner of later we're gonna have to get over this nonsense.

Sure, but 'branding' - because that's what liveries are - is intended to inspire positive sentiment, so having one people like could be seen as a good pr move.

Nevertheless, that pic only shows a tiny portion of the car; I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the top of the sidepod in yellow (in fact, this shot makes me though it's very likely that we're going to get a 2010 style paint job)

And on the livery matter: I too would like more stylish and properly painted cars, but sadly it's just not meant to be.

How do we know it's not just gonna run the livery in testing then redo it for Australia? Red Bull did it last year, although they had the awesome livery in testing then a boring one in the year so maybe Renault will do the opposite hopefully?
