It looks like those of us who had hoped for a yellow livery are going to be disappointed, as the teaser shots suggest the car will be mostly black with flashes of yellow.

Every square centimeter on the car's surface and driver's suit is like a piece of real estate that carries a certain price tag associated with that space. If Santander isn't showing on the car, then it's obvious that the money they are paying for sponsorship isn't worthy of that space.cmF1 wrote:It still annoys me that Santander clearly sponsor McLaren; yet don't show up on the car. Just stick them on the side pod and make the car look half presentable!!
It's Santander UK that sponsors McLaren, and that's because a certain Jenson Button is a driver. Anyway, Santander's logo is absent from the cars since 2009Wazari wrote:Every square centimeter on the car's surface and driver's suit is like a piece of real estate that carries a certain price tag associated with that space. Probably to cover some details in the background of the imageCold Fussion wrote:Why is he wearing a helmet in a simulator?
It could just be an immersion thing (he is probably wearing seatbelts for this reason too) or it could be that without the helmet you see some of screen edges and reducing the field of vision with a helmet keeps you from seeing these uncovered parts.Cold Fussion wrote:Why is he wearing a helmet in a simulator?
