Yeah...see above :D
Have just imported everything and noticed it seems to be the same as last year except for an extra 15mm above the front wheels and one of the floor guides is just in the diffuser area.

I opened the CFD parts: it seems that there is a scaling issue with the supensions (the wheels are ok for both scale and location). Could you check it? I'm not sure if the problem is in the original file or in myu import process.
For the STL files or the STEP file? When I open the STL files in Paraview the scale appears to be correct. The scale is not ideal, we should really be using 1 unit = 1mm as this seems to be what most modeling packages expect, but this is how we did it in 2015.

Thanks Richard. I'll make sure to include a SKP next time.

STL: it happened after importing wheels and sups together (maybe it depends on my cad)

Here is the article I wrote about a test with a different software than OpenFOAM. It involves my 2015 car and I also wrote about KVRC.

Seemed fine when I imported all the wheels and both suspension parts in to the same Sketchup file

Thank you! Don't worry about the text, it is written for Google not for humans :) The pictures explain everything completely.

Stay tuned... in the afternoon I'm going to reveal something about the CAEdevice 2016 car (MP004A). I'm not sure if it will be used in the "High DF" races (first two races), since I'm considering the "introductory class" if the release of OCCFD (with "cooling option 2" simulation) will be released too late. Anyway, I'm going to use the MP004 in the last three ("efficiency") races.

EDIT: Here I am :)

This is the new car, MP004B (a "parametric" evolution fo the MP003B, modeled with SolidWorks). Consider that the sidepods and the cooling inlets can deeply vary. At the moment they are dimensioned with an external CFD tool and they are "option 2" compliant. As I wrote before, I would need to develop it with OCCFD 1.2. In case it will be ready to late, I'll switch to "option1" or to "introductory category"- As soon as possibile I will update with some other pictures the CAEdevice thead and my official website.

Veeery nice looking CAEdevice!!

I was wondering, what flow/pressure drop or velocity/pressure drop curve and porosity did you use for your tests? I am having some trouble to comply with the rules with the parameters I am running...

Looks good...a nice evolution of last year's car. I spot a couple of details that i'm going to use on my car ;)
Why the black livery?
