What I mean is the following:

The plane of the heat exchanger is at 30 deg from a plane perpendicular to the x (forward direction) axis, but it has been defined over an axis on the forward facing plane that is in an arbitrary direction.

Hi everybody, next week I'm going to publish an article on the italian web magazine http://www.formulapassion.it about the new KVRC season.

I'm going to explain how KVRC works and the results of the previous seasons.

I'd like to ask you and the staff some questions:

1) Am I allowed to write about the KVRC and about its partecipans? It's ok to publish Team Names, F1Technical nicknames and real names (if you want let me know something more, just write an MP)?

2) For the staff (Julien, Chris, Machin and all the people who were in the staff in the previous seasons): Am I allowed to publish pictures and logos taken from the official website?

3) If you have renderings of your car send it to me (I'll give you my email by MP), but consider that only 3 images will be published (the other will be shown into an extended version of the article, that I will write for my website http://www.CAEdevice.net )

Sorry: the article will be in italian, maybe an english version will be released but I'm not sure at the moment.

Thank you! Your team (and mine, with TF, Kineuton and Talno) has been named between the outsiders (I hope that FP will not cut any part of the article). I'll try to include a link to your wordpress site, to Mantium website, to CompetionCarEngineering... but it not depends on me only :(

I have the possibility to use only few pictures: one dedicated to team CSR (who dominated the first two seasons and produced an impressive rendering), one to Variante (latest winner), one to some postprocessing (streamlines, pressure maps, ...) and one to 2016 cars (at the moment my MP004A).

Greetings KVRC..

I'm trying to set up One-Click, getting the following error:

If anyone can help me out feel free PM, or we can discuss here and maybe help others out.

Thanks,

Hi SR71, are you sure that the assembly structure and file names are corrected?

I think I have the names correct, however, a new error...

Well the simulation fails after it's verified geometry, so something is working just not all of it... I've uninstalled and reinstalled all the software but I can still understand how its a software issue.

Just hoping this error was something someone ran into at this point. other than a full re-install (again) does anyone have any input?

Thanks,
SR71

Was a legitimate question to try and figure out the issue due to there being so many different bits of software that are being brought together for OCCFD to so its thing. Its very easy to leave something behind, from not setting the option to install to 'PATH' in the OpenMPI installer to not using the right version of Paraview.

I understand, I actually corrected the version of paraview after review. I didn't mean to make your question seem illegitimate. I'm not 100% percent certain I've installed correctly but I've reinstalled everything 2X, was hoping there might be another error I'm not considering is all.

Thanks again,

Best thing you can do is email Julien, its his project and tends to get to the bottom of things pretty quickly if you have an issue .

The 30 degree limit is the angle between a directly forward-facing (+Y) vector and the normal vector of the heat exchanger surface. Rotating the heat exchanger around the +Y axis is ignored, this is equivalent to just changing the shape of the heat exchanger without changing the orientation.

Thanks for the explanation!

I'm not sure I quite get it...

Assuming the radiator "model" is the same size and shape in all three scenarios below, Are you saying that:

1 (no angle) is OK (I presume yes!)
2, angling the top of the radiator up to 30 degrees is ok
3, angling the top of the radiator forward a bit and the side of the radiator back a bit is OK, as long as the total angle (i.e. total rotation in all three cartesian planes) between the radiator face and the pure fore-aft axis is no more than 30 degrees?
