Why is he wearing a helmet in a simulator?

Why is he wearing a helmet in a simulator?

It could just be an immersion thing (he is probably wearing seatbelts for this reason too) or it could be that without the helmet you see some of screen edges and reducing the field of vision with a helmet keeps you from seeing these uncovered parts.

I figured the immersion thing myself, but you're right in that it might be to limit any extraneous visual input that would break concentration/illusion.
Plus it occurs to me, don't the top of the line simulators toss you around in a very realistic way that could cause you to hit your head?

you can only win titles if you've got an exlusive truck supplier. so that's one very important step towards the 2016 title

Sponsorship wise McLaren are more or less the same as last year then with Chandon replacing JW and Richard Mille replacing TAG. Wasn't as bad as I first thought it would be.
