this is what i am fearing most. track time is limited (lowest in history of F1) and start is very similar to lastyear 1 hour gone and only one installation Lap. we need mileage

I am trying to be positive and say they are doing system check's but doesn't exactly fill you with confidence when other's are on track doing lap's.

Fans patience is really tested. I am sure there is something going on in the pit garage. There is definitely some issues.

Could be sensor problems. Testing is meant to understand and iron out issues so this was expected from McLaren

What is nice to see is Renault engines are holding on and seem to be reliable. Good number of laps so far for Plamer and Riccardo.

Button should be out shortly and I still believe that we will do 50+ laps today.

In 1h 42 mins of testing HAM did +20 laps. They fired up the engine at 8.59 AM, and did the instalation lap at 9.00 AM. These type of things demonstrates the strenght of Mercedes.


Yeah, it doesn't look good for Honda. It may just be something minor but with such a limited amount of testing available you don't want to start on the back foot
#BelieveinMcLarenHonda is difficult to believe now... Seems like Honda's PU is made of glass

If this turn's out to be issues with new Pu then I think that will throw more weight behind McLaren's idea of getting engineer's from outside as being made clear they can't build a reliable and fast one on there own.
