Since it looks like he will break 150 laps with 20 minutes or so to go, anyone think Merc will send Hamilton out on low fuel?

they said they wanted to get 12 days of testing done in 8!

Comparison betweeh HAM & VET both on the Medium tyre:

VET: 1:30.0, 1:29.6, 1:30.0, 1:29.8, 1:29.9, 1:29.6 and 1:30.0.

HAM: 1:28.9, 1:28.1, 1:28.3, 1:28.5, 1:28.2, 1:28.2, 1:28.1, 1:28.4, 1:28.6, 1:28.5 and 1:28.6

yes, but they were prob using 2015 ICE with updated ERS
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Apart from the fact that we dont know fuel loads, when Vettel was doing his stint Ham was lapping in 1:30s according to SkyF1.

There is no way Ferrari is 1+ second of in race pace. Never was in last year.

But remember, Ferrari are apparently rolling out an almost new car whereas everything we hear is that Mercedes is just an evolution of last years beast. Each is, no doubt, on their own test plan and probably no one is pushing yet.

That's why I said they have work to do, they only have 2/3rds of the track time this year to sort the car out.
