Not good if true. Regarding aero parts, I think Ferrari is using a lot of old parts just to compare data with last years car.ferkan wrote:According to robocopj (F1analisitecnica) who is at circuit Ferrari looks good, but nothing more. He doesnt expect WC, has seen better traction from other Ferraris and just generally gives a feeling of being underwhelmed. He mentioned still nervous front and the fact that Rosberg was on gas pedal much sooner then Vettel.
Vettel kinda gave similar vibes today. Like he expected more...Has specifically said PU feels better and more powerful, but they still have much to work to do which I think he aimed at aero saying its totally new car. All in all, alot of work to do.
IMO alot of bits and pieces on car (FW, RW, aero parts around sidepods) still look relatively underdeveloped when compared to alot of cars, especially RBR and Mercedes.

I would say the Mercedes engine is reving faster than Ferrari.
It would be interesting to know if they were at same speed. If yes, it can be good news regarding fuel consumption...
PLS explain how can you tell?Juzh wrote:Ferrari is not even pushing.gioma wrote:zioture wrote:Comparison noise @MercedesAMGF1 VS @ScuderiaFerrari

I wouldn't read too much into that. Vettel is a typical German in that sense. They always find the hair in the Soup.ferkan wrote: Vettel kinda gave similar vibes today. well you can hear the Ferrari get off the gas about 3 quarters of the way down the straight the mercedes stays on the gas a bit longer.. sounds like the Mercedes was harder on the gas for the time that it was on the gas.... doesnt sound like either car was going flat out.FLuidd wrote:PLS explain how can you tell?Juzh wrote:Ferrari is not even pushing.gioma wrote:

No one's obliged to participate. So, if you can't deal with thoughts that don't fit neatly into whatever narrative you've constructed for yourself, feel free to ignore this.giantfan10 wrote:really? i thought one of the moderators shot this down previously(turbo)
remember the garbage engine in the back of that 2014 car? that had anything to do with it being winless ??
COMPLETELY different engine and engine layout but you are musing about the 2014 and the 2016 car looking similar from one angle . musing about overheating when the car ran 127 laps on the second day of testing with a radical new engine layout...priceless!!
there is enough muddy water around here as it is why contribute?bhall II wrote:No one's obliged to participate. Otherwise, it's not a comparison for the sake of comparison. It's specifically related to the design of this thread's namesake.
