How can who call it that?
Gridlock specifically said that Ferrari rather than helping Haas build a better vf16, helped them build a better sf15t.
Ah...then he can say that because it's his opinion.
He's already recognized that they have different chassis so it makes little sense.
I mean everything front wing on the grid looks like the Ferrari, so I just don't get the lack of credit of the first new team to jump straight into the midfield in this era.

I said that allegedly the Haas in the wind tunnel last year was near identical to the Ferrari so Ferrari could obtain data from a resource outside the regulations (as in loophole, not as in contrary to them).

What exactly do you think Mercedes were clarifying last year? Why did the regulations change?

But yes, opinion. But an informed one.

I guess I am not sure what you are responding to. Did someone claim that Haas is starting from scratch? Why the need to clarify that Haas is buying out most of the car? No one has claimed otherwise, it's open knowledge, and completely legal and acceptable. Why the angst about it?

One has to wonder if Sauber is on the phone with Ferrari for their 2017 car now... If the Haas experiment lands them mid field for their budget, I would expect Sauber to follow suit ASAP!

Anybody find this a weird coincidence?

I couldn't get the Hoover logo out of my head when I saw the new Haas logo.

White!

It's a Sauber lease.

It will be even more of a coincidence if they both suck

It looks like they tweaked their livery changing silver to white and black to grey: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2016/03/17/2 ... ia-f12016/
