Red Bull RB12 TAG-Heuer

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I wonder if the new suspension is laid out so that they will not need Monaco specific arms?

https://twitter.com/F1/status/704970958298337280 I know this steering wheel is for pit stop practice use, but I wonder if they are going back to the 'lightweight' version like the steering wheel used by Williams. For me, I do love the design of the old steering wheel where the LCD display mounted on the chassis to save some weight. I would really happy if they bring it back this year! :D

By the way...it's been a long time RBR has been nearly on top of the speed trap :D
https://twitter.com/AlbertFabrega/statu ... 8826127360 For sure, we dont't exactly know the circumstances, aero setups and so on...but it looks good of you only mind the speed trap figures.

If you look carefully at the top of the steering wheel an Infinity logo is covered with black masking material. Probably utilizing one of last year's units until a new one is built. It makes sense since the teams have been busy getting the car built and will devote time to the minor bits when the car is where they want it.

I don't think it gets better than that honestly.

Both Renaults right up there in straight line speed, i didn't expect that.
