Hi Guys I am following the live timing from F1 today but it only gives you the fastest lap the driver did for the day...I remeber a few years ago there being a sit which had live timing and it had the fasted lap of the driver as well as the current lap or lap just completed so you can see for example if Vettels fastest run was on softs and that he is currently running on hards than it updates the last lap he completed...that gives more info than watching a screen whole day of who is fastest... does anyone know of another live timing site that has a little more info. thanx

Yes 12 laps up until now.

Which makes it 400 laps this week. At last some solid testing for McHonda.

FOM has gone to not inconsiderable trouble to stamp out detailed test times appearing. There are random lists of times that appear on Twitter #f1 #F1testing. Most of those times are sourced from or appear on AMUSFormel1's Live ticker.

For instance Vettel's first stint from his current race simulation:
Vettel (S) OUT 1:29.2 - 1:29.8 - 1:30.1 - 1:30.3 - 1:30.5

Those soft tyres will be used at the Spanish GP this summer.
What a bunch of anal passages those guys at Pirelli are.

Well it sucks for us F1 Fans...coz its all the info we are getting... and than FOM would like to know how they can make the show better...Its mighty simple...Listen to what the fans want..after all if there were no Fans of F1..the sport would simply shrivel up and die...Thanks snowy for the info...much appreciated

If the guys at AMUS can post the times they do I am actually at a loss to know why Autosport don't publish some times. It is not as if the teams aren't in full possession of detailed times for every lap of every car at the circuit. The only thing I can think of for making it this difficult to get the timing data is that Bernie wants to keep the betting odds in his favour.

Seems like he is cruising around...can't remember what Merc was doing on the mediums...or he is driving to a delta time

There is some concern over at AMUS and Autosport about Seb's pace compared to Kimi's. I speculate that there may be problems with traffic, they're not offering any explanation tho'.

Sainz is showing an amazingly constant pace with almost no degradation. This TR looks great!

I am keeping my fingers crossed this year the championship positions for the constructors will not be as influenced with cars conking out in the middle of the race because of reliability issues. So far in testing other than Haas sorting out their initial teething issues and McLaren losing a day or two with oil leaks, the reliability has been good. That makes me think that the midfield fighting will be more intense. I am thinking it will be a straight fight with Merc and Ferrari, Red Bull in the top tier group with Williams landing some punches in once in a while. In my mind they are straddling both the top tier and the mid tier. The midfield will be Toro Rosso and Force India, McLaren, Renault and maybe even Manor can get in the fight on occasion with a sprinkling of Williams thrown in. And bringing up the rear will be the brand new team of the group Haas. That is sort of what I see happening down the road. I am actually a bit more excited about this F1 season than last years.

In terms of drivers Vettel will be up there as usual. I think Rosberg will give Hamilton a harder time. Kimi may step up his game too what with the steering feel probably better for him with the change in the front suspension. Masa is doing great and he will outscore Bottas I think quite handily. And of course there are the other drivers. There's no lack of talent this year at least. Melbourne can't get here fast enough.
