As far as i'm concerned Mercedes was 3 tenths faster on race pace last year and their qualifying engine mode is where they were a mile faster than the rest.... rumor is that Ferrari and Mclaren also have that engine mode this year.... lets see how it plays out. i think Ferrari is closer than last year and yes that is just a guess.

It sadly looks like Mercedes is a little ahead of Ferrari. Though it is impossible to be certain until qualifying in Melbourne.
I really want to know if Mercedes will continue their qualifying domination or if Ferrari has found a way around that. That is going to be very important in the 2016 battle.

Are you seriously trying to say that in-spite of numerous aero upgrades and two engine upgrades over the last 12 months that Merc went backwards while everyone else (including merc customers)went forwards?
