Looks tight between the sidepod and the front wheel pod, how good is airflow?
New sidepod ruls have improved the look of the car dramatically!

Yes, it looks much better! The airflow around the side pods is not good enough actually. After the first two races I'm going to modify it in order to gain efficiency.

I was wondering if that was the case of it it worked like a venturi and sped the air up.
Currently plotting ideas ready to start my 2016 challenger.

Short rear wing endplates and central supports... Presumably you got some benefits from doing this compared to your older configuration.... Interesting...

Yes, but the difference is small. The front wheels area is much more critical this year (considering the cooling needs).

I think we're going to see this car on the podium quite often. An elegant evolution of last year's model.

I think I would need to increase the DF of about 1000N to reach the podium: I have two days to try, but I think that all the best teams are improving in the meanwhile. At the moment my car has not the same downforce of the last year: the new sidepods (required by the new cooling rules) reduced the efficiency of the front wing.

Hhhmm... Interesting indeed... Without any form of end plate they must generate some strong vortices....???

Honestly the vortices are not working as I wanted (I still have flow detachement above the sidepods: I hope to fix it for Race 02), but there are some advantages using that winglets
