It's just a heavily cambered wing design. Not that unusual.

Overall the chord of the front wing is towards the ground, the slot (first element is just that in the bigger picture) helps to energise the airflow on the bottom and back of the front wing (next section or element).

It looks like the front, lowermost, element of the wing is angled so the trailing edge is lower than the front edge. From my simple aerodynamics understanding, that would seem to me to produce lift and not downforce.

Can someone with more understanding explain this please.

They had oversteer problems last year(Alonso hitting wall in testing was the first sign of it) and they have it this year so far and the more power seams to make it worse.Also the PU runs like it is a wild bronco trying to kick it's rider off.
