It's that man Marko again.
Simply, anything he says needs a BS filter propagated via an agenda bulletin. It confuses the hell out of him hence the ridiculous "We are fast on the straights thanks to the chassis improvements".

Bravo Helmut, bravo!

So, Rosberg had no issues following and overtaking that Red Bull and I think the Ferraris would have done the same too if that was a normal race. Vettel ran for most part with a damaged front wing, but still ended up ahead of Kvyat. I don't think the chassis is equalizing a 50BHP sort of deficit. It might do to the extent of 20 or atmost 30 BHP.

Williams !!! What a shambolic car they have.
Sure the Mercedes and Ferrari have the measure of Red Bull. But clearly this is also not all down to just the PU, in the same way Red Bull's deficit is not all down to the PU.
We are seeing the start of convergence now with Mercedes powered teams falling behind even 2015 powered Ferrari customers.
In short, as time goes on the engine becomes less of a differentiator.

Come on!
Just use your good old Brain MK I to interpret what you see and don't let those clowns try to confuse and obfuscate you. And that basically applies for all that BS coming from Team Managers/Spokespersons. Marko/Horner may be among the worst but they all do to quite some extent. I never listen to any of that crap. It just tells you what they want to make you believe. I couldn't care less.

Also the car is a bomb when it comes to braking. Nontheless the Renault PU also improved, but not in peak power, but driveability. Better peak power will come in Canada or maybe earlier (also Markos words).
Chassis improvements of this level are completely unheard of.

Kinda like Mercedes adding an extra 100bhp from Bahrain to China.
Sounds like RedBull back to form - claiming any improvements are only ever car related.
This red bull back to form nonsense is pretty laughable. they are the third best car by a long shot. Williams who they should be competing with is garbage so they pretty much have a free run at 3rd best car on the grid.
the top red bull was 15 seconds behind 3rd in Australia and 32 seconds behind 3rd in Bahrain. in China they got to third after starting a chain event that caused Vettel, kimi and hamilton to make an extra stop with front wing damage.Vettel still finished ahead of kvyat after damagin his wing AGAIN. I dont see anything to suggest to me they made a step forward. Both kimi and vettel made mistakes in qualifying allowing red bull to start second and 5th... no performance gain there.

It is interesting to see that everbody gets for atleast 10 levels more sore, when Ferrari is involved in this kind of situation as a victim. This as a racing incident and thank god for it, because it made the race more interesting. If only they would finaly ban the ridiculus DRS, so we would see pure racing and overtaking...As the F1 is this year, DRS is pointless, it only helps best teams getting on their positions faster.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

You haven't shut up for the last 5 pages.
We get it...............we get the fact you're anti Kvyat.

When someone is as blinkered as yourself the facts could hit you in the face at the speed of a Formula 1 car, or maybe a torpedo, and you still wouldn't recognise them.

Kimi ran wide, Vettel went up the inside, and at the same time Kvyat went up the inside of him.
Vettel --- his pants and turned left, just as Kimi turned right into him.

Kvyat didn't hit anyone !
Was his move a bit ambitious ?
Absolutely !

But he was never at fault, and that's exactly why he got no penalty.

Vettel is a whining little bitch who doesn't cope with anyone or anything, unless he's getting his own way.

I applaud Kvyat for having the balls to take him on, and Sebastian's comments before the podium were nothing more than bullying tactics, and another example of him not taking responsibility for his own mistakes.

I'm not so sure this whining was straight. I think it was an indirect way of apologising to Kimi and the Team for ruining Kimi's race.
Vettel would have done exactly the same thing as Kvyat did had he been his shoes. And he knows it.

agreed.

Dunno, maybe yes, maybe no.

Hmm, dunno. I think out of these 10 at least 8 or 9 are whining because it indirectly hit Lewis.

I really dont care which driver wins as I support the Formula in general and while I have a preference fo Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull the others are also providing more interest for other fans.

I think that the improvement from Red Bull needs to be continued as a three way fight (Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes) will be much more interesting to watch.
Listening to the post flag banter between Vettel and the pit wall it seems he was very aware and sorry that he had hit Kimi and that he had messed up. I guess he then took this out on Kvyat.

These 'racing' incidents are very unfortunate if you support one team only but they do provide much chat and entertainment for the public as a whole.

Vettel went for the same gap as Kvyat after Kimi went wide, these things happen in T1 on the first lap.
All of them would have gone for the gap Kvyat went for, it wasn't that optimistic of a move.

Lots of action throughout the race but it would be nice to have a clean race for the top drivers, without punctures and bits of the FW flying off.
Seems like whenever any of the Merc drivers end up in dirty air they have a hard time getting past slower cars, more so than other teams?

Edit: Ericsson had a pretty good race, with a very controlled very long last stint. P16 isn't good but with no DNF's it was the best result Sauber could hope for I think.

Fastest straightline speed means nothing?

Yet you base your views on engines entirely on that.
One of the red bulls did 349 in the trap today. That's obviously a big improvement from renault. Wouldn't have been possible in previous years (at this track).
Maybe these pictures does speaks volumes about the 2016 Renault PU :

In addition to those above pictures is worth to mention that :
1. Both HAM and RIC were with DRS on
2. They were within 1 sec slipstream from MAS respectively HAM, in RIC case
3. Max. speed was 340km/h for both of them ... as I saw on the app ...

True, but that's only half of it. Kvyat's move was a typical Red Bull driver event, car that allows the first part and talent that prevents the second ;-). Ricciardo had a dozen like that last season with victims.

Vettel's rant - show for the cameras. Incident wasn't even investigated so he should go to Whiting to complain.

Some "cute" analysis regarding luck and bad luck so far ... :

1. Australia round :
Lewis : bad start; bad timing with the red flag; and then puts him on the back foot with the tyre strategy
Vettel : bad timing with the red flag; bad tyre strategy
Kimi : bad race strategy; PU issue
and now Rosberg: survives after a half bad start; takes advantages with the red flag when he switch tyres with the medium ones; got lucky with the brakes on final laps

2. Bahrein round :
Lewis : half bad start; got car damaged with Bottas incident, not his fault
Vettel : PU issue
Kimi : bad start, front wing damage then far to back to make a threat
and Rosberg : nice getaway and easy win

3. China round :
Lewis : previously a 5 grid penalty for a gearbox change; starts dead last due to an ERS issue; FW broke in the first lap incident without his fault, then-after he damaged suspension after that incident when he went into the gravel ... maybe here is his fault coz should he went easy afterward he would`t went to the gravel ... and another mistake of his own was that he should have start from the pit lane, as he recognized in Sky interview after the race ... yeah, in hindsight we could be all heroes :P ... the only good thing he did today was the start, as he stated and we saw in the TV replay footage ...
Vettel : half bad start and afterwards front wing damage and maybe more
Kimi : good start but too much speed entry in turn 2; car damage in collision with Vettel
now Ricci : very good start; bad luck with the blown tyre
and last, but not least Rosberg : half bad start; got luck with Ricci tyre issue

So how how many times he will be so lucky? Not many, IMHO

I'm not sure if I understand you here, but could you please point me to the dozen victims of Daniel Ricciardo last season ?
If you can maybe I will understand.
If you can't then I'd suggest you tone it down a bit and get back to facts
