IMO, it looks to smooth to have been 3D printed. I suspect it was just a milling operation.

IMO, it looks to smooth to have been 3D printed. I suspect it was just a milling operation.

Once post processed there is no reason a part manufactured by additive means can't be as smooth and well finished as with any other method. However I agree it is likely machined as there are no geometries visible that would be impossible for a CNC machining centre to do. Depends on what Williams or their suppliers have available to them really.
