Wow. Both drivers stupid. But I'll call this a racing incident.
And WTF did Sainz come from?!? Bravo!
or lose an extra 7 point advantage and 8 wins in a row, he was leading the race.RZS10 wrote:one way to defend the lead in WDC
They both drove awfully.iotar__ wrote:- Awful driving by Hamilton 10 places grid. Sour loser as always.
- This is what you get Mercedes for mollycoddling Hamilton in Japan, Spa, Bahrain and USA.
Yes, he has the right to defend, however, cross the whole track defending a car that had a much better exit and would most likely be next to you is over-the-top.GrayGreat wrote:You must be joking. There is not rule that says you should not defend to someone who is coming fast, or is there? As I said, he is entitled to defend as hard as he likes, given that he moves only in 1 direction which he did. Niki lauda basically saying live that Lewis is at fault (Not the exact wording but it means the same).wesley123 wrote:Yes, he has the right to defend, however, cross the whole track defending a car that had a much better exit and would most likely be next to you is over-the-top.GrayGreat wrote:You must be joking. Sounds like a bit of respect to me to not cross the whole track to defend. The defense was waaaay too agressiveGrayGreat wrote:There is not rule that says you should not defend to someone who is coming fast, or is there? That perfectly summarises it.wesley123 wrote:They were equally stupid
Oh please. Respect? For years everybody kept saying Nico is not aggressive and does not have the spark in him that world champions do. Now when he defended his position, you are saying he was wrong? Stop being biased, and stop defending Hamilton blindly. There was no room on the track, Nico covered the track before any part of the Hamilton's car was alongside. Hamilton should have braked, that's all.wesley123 wrote:Sounds like a bit of respect to me to not cross the whole track to defend. Well....Ham new that the driver on the inside will be ahead after the next corner. Ros knew the same and moved right after the corner...the question is if you can force your car to the inside when you are behind.henra wrote:That perfectly summarises it.wesley123 wrote:They were equally stupid
On the up side we might have an entertaining race ahead of us. which is not the norm for the Barcelona Track.
That's not all. Lewis didn't defend aggressively when nico passed him before, so why Nico shouldn't do the same as far as he knew he was too slow before the corner ?GrayGreat wrote:Oh please. Edit: Offense was multiple times more aggressive than the defense, don't forget that. Rosberg was leading, why should he leave any room when he is not entilted to? (Lauda's words).
