Does it help Ferrari that an executive road car maker beating them square for 3 years now, in the areas of their expertise, Race cars?
Meh. Ferrari has shown the world that it can't fight its way out of a wet paper bag. All Mercedes has to do is show up and not crash, and they'll win.

Possibly. Would suck for him, he didn't put a foot wrong. If Verstappen's strategy puts him ahead, watch the internet explode.
Looking forward to Red Bull's explanation, don't quite understand what they have done.
Why? The split of strategy was a really good thing. Like this they have the chance to finish at least one car ahead of Ferrari.
And Vettel looks like being in a really bad situation now.
They lost track position to Seb which is the part I don't understand, they didn't cover him off and instead lost buckets of time.

I'm gonna go out on a limp and say Ferrari are better than Merc. in dirty air.

Ferrari sacrificed Vet to Rai as it turns out that the 2-Stop seems to be the better strategy. And there is not yet decided if Vet can keep his position as the undercut was way to early.

Ric in DRS now...

27.7 Any driver defending his position on a straight, and before any braking area, may use the full width of the track during his first move, provided no significant portion of the car attempting to pass is alongside his. Whilst defending in this way the driver may not leave the track without justifiable reason.

For the avoidance of doubt, if any part of the front wing of the car attempting to pass is alongside the rear wheel of the car in front this will be deemed to be a ‘significant portion’.

Seems they didn't think the Medium would last for 30 laps.
Given that Vettel seemed 5 -7 tenths per lap quicker when not stuck behind them they are actually doing fine.
Looks like it, the evolving track maybe caught them out on Daniels strategy, time will tell, 10 laps to go.

Raikkonen's literally double Verstappen's age, and has started nearly 10 times the F1 races he has.

Vettel has a point, if he hadn't taken evasive action, Ric would've taken out both.

Great stuff by Ricciardo. People want racing and here it is.
