To be fair Andres125sx, This is not crashing into his team mate, this was having contact with his team mate, because Sainz had a one of his major lock-ups he had through out the whole race..

What makes it even more embarrasing for Max, Sainz went long, and Max went even longer and crashed with him

He didn´t ruin the whole team race because of luck, as he even lifted Carlos car with his collision, he didn´t cause a puncture on Carlos car, or broke his own wing just because of luck, but he did all posible for this to happen

Before Manoah2u start saying I´m bashing Max because I´m in love with Carlos this was just a clarification to Jolle statement wich was not accurate, he said Max never crashed with his team mate and since he didn´t remind this incident, I posted it. Max is WDC material, but he´s also doing several mistakes, wich are normal for his age, but we cannot ignore or hide his mistakes as if they would have never happened

But, you must agree, at the moment nobody on the grid is even close to the madness that was/is Maldonado. Not just that he crashed but above all the way he crashed. To refresh the collective mind:

Agree with that, I never said he´s the new Maldonado or he´s even comparable, he´s not.

Maldonado was insane fast at times, because he was able to push very hard to the limits.
BUT more times he exceeded the limits way to much ....
I think 2011 an 2012 were his goo years in F1, after that he was stil very fast but only flashes of it.
In order to be a good racing driver you need to be able to tone it down a bit, and bring the car home in one piece that is.

Ah yes, the Maldonado speed myth. Honestly even on raw speed he was ordinary. In qualifying he got beaten 90% of the time!

Sorry but this is 2015 - Sonador specifically said 2011/12 were his good years.

He definitely had some good qualifying performances in 2012 that didn't turn into good results for one reason or another - Valencia 2012 (bit of a silly accident with Hamilton but not exactly crash-tor worthy) and Singapore 2012 (when he was running well in the race and had to retire through no fault of his own) spring to mind.

He also beat Perez in GP2.

But agreed it then went a bit pair-shaped so much so that he had to leave - it was getting silly.

Williams might have a good chance at winning this.

Straights for days and Williams seem to have decent traction for the slow speed corners with their new rear suspension. I don't know about winning but could be a great race for them.

What if there is a pile up in this turn 10 bottleneck and the cars have to idle for some minutes because the track ahead is blocked? What is max idle duration of those PU in 33 Celsius ? 5min? Or 3min?

It'll be interesting to see what the track evolution is like from the first timed lap of FP1 to the pole time, in Catalunya a track the drivers and teams know very well this delta was nearly 9 seconds. In Canada FP1 the first timed lap was 1.30.4 vs a poletime of 1.12.8. Anyone care to guess? I'm sure the first few laps will be quite cautious!
