Not a lot of information about that, no smoke and no signs of a collision.

I was just going to write how amazing are the Mercedes being the fastest ones, and the ones who make more laps without a problem... #-o
It looks like his car was stuck in 4th gear. He also reported a loss of power. He might have to take a gearbox penalty if his gearbox isn't 6 races old yet.

Normally he (and HAM) got a new gearbox after Spain, but because that one it still have some life in it (just four GP-s and a corner), it would be logical that they use it for long runs on Friday.

Today FER is using previous PU allocation with old TC, so tomorrow they will claw some time back, but if they don't solve tyre temperature issue they will have hard time for sure.

Not really good FP1 and FP2 for Ferrari and RedBull til now. Bottas is doing well since FP1, maybe Massa on a different program. It will be crucial to start ahead of FI drivers if they keep their performance.

MGU-K problem according to Vettel's engineer (who had something similar happen to him).

I would assume this track, is really going to be hard on the entire power unit.

yea, he lost 1.2 seconds because of that mistake. One thing fore sure this track will heavily penalize any mistakes on the part of the driver.
I seriously fear for any driver who goes into that run off area during the race from missing his turn. He'll have to do a 180 turn or even worse reverse first. Gonna lose a lot of time there
lewis went off in 16, it has a huge amount of run off space.
Not that one. Can't remember what turn. The escape ends in a cul de sac

Er....Ferrari's PU up to Mercedes in Canada. Maybe Baku adds another 50bhp to the Merc ?
