What happened to Hamilton and Verstappen?
Kvyat found some pace is see in the results.
Watched all the practice sessions

But unfortunatly missed the qualiy today ..

- Hamilton crashed in Q3 and it affected other drivers.
- Verstappen and Bottas had small incidents on both Q3 runs, one overtake(?) and one failed overtake. I saw only the first one, Bottas dived inside made the corner just fine, Verstappen went off and came back next to him. Bottas probably remembered Hungary '15 .
- I'm a surprised Vettel is not bothered with losing to Ricciardo, especially on an engine track like this one. Maybe he's counting on Canada like start.
- Track is very cool to watch in qualifying, some tricky corners (left-hander before the straight when they corrected often). We'll see if you can overtake here, some SCs are guaranteed.

Looking more and more like off track lack of focus is maybe haunting Lewis. The championship is slipping away. This should have been a grand schlem weekend for him with the marked advantage that car has on the field.

Literally every driver on the grid has been going over those lines, so if rosberg's lap was to be invalidated then everyone's lap should be as well.

Mercedes are on their own league, hopefully tomorrow Nico will not perform a good start (what is pretty common lately, not because of Rosberg, but the only Mercedes weak point) so the race have some interest in the front. The rest will be quite interesting anycase

After Perez and Rosberg, Kvyat must be happiest man. He outperformed not only his team mate, but also Verstappen. Even when Max only could do one fast lap at the end with only one attempt after the red flag, that must hurt

practice is not qualifying . the drivers that did have 4 tires off in that area where doing it during practice and not qualifying. show us other drivers during qualies that went off on that part of the track?

No I think he has alot to worry about he's never going to be World Champion not with Lewis still driving as he does Vettel being ALSO still young he's a top Champion but Vettel is young don't forget that. Then you have the younger grid like Bottas Perez Max Sainz.

RosBerg has alot to worry about here at this race it's mainly Sergio Perez Ricciardo and Vettel. Perhaps Lewis you never know but Perez and Ricciardo for sure.

You know it is a great track when you learn all the corners after
Just a few minutes of watching and when your heart is beating for each driver just to complete the lap!

I had my doubts but this track is one of the ballsiest tracks on the calendar. Move over Monaco.

perhaps you should wake up that we're in 2016 now. Apart from that, Perez held a great stand to Button, in his maiden year with top-team Mclaren. In fact, he kept up to button pretty good, and that against a matured World Champion that was housed in Mclaren for quite some time. Perez being on par with Button actually lifts Perez' creds, not to forget his amazing drive in a Sauber vs Alonso in a Ferrari, where we all know he would have overtaken Alonso but since the Sauber had Ferrari power that was not going to happen.

So actually, Rosberg does need worry about hot gun Perez. I like the idea of Perez @ Ferrari to Vettel's side, but i would actually also be very interested in seeing Perez sided with Hamilton @ Mercedes......

Quite a bit I agree.
But this is the longest straight on the calendar, if you factor that the 2 corners prior are flat.

That can be made up in other areas, yet we don't see it in the other sectors.
