I know exactly what specific means, just that a modulus cannot be referred in that way. A modulus is engineering stress versus strain slope, so it does not depend on the mass of the material. Edit: I see what you mean in that link, but there "specific" is when the modulus is per denisity. This makes complete sense if it's per density, and not per mass.
