Thats why you try and get out first if you have the best car because there can be no yellow flags in front, gotta feel for Red Bull though because they had the pace for pole.

Did he actually have flags though?
He did, one screen with double waved yellow and it didn't look like he slowed down at all. Maybe a half assed lift for half a second or something. Have to see his other laps to compare really.
The us commentators are now saying he had a couple flags, and the fastest sector time, so he could be in trouble.

Hamilton slowed down way before he could see Alsonso. That's what I understand what you have to do under "double yellow". Not just lifting the gas a little.

Yeah it was his brake-by-wire system.... :P

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Damn i should have included STR in the cars that are level with Mclaren.
You realize both McLarens didn't finish there laps and would have both jumped him right?

Also looks like Ferrari are behind according to your analysis, hell one of them didn't even make q3.

RTL has shown the onboard ... he never lifted properly ... maybe slight lift and coast into one corner ... but he set purple under double yellow ...

he'll probably get away with it because of "changing track conditions" when they compare his sector times tho

Hamilton couldn't have done that, there was a car sitting sideways at the corner exit when he arrived...
Hamilton was just behind Alo, he could have pushed after he pass him but he decide to abort the lap. Maybe couldn't have improve but Ros pushed after slowing down and some traffic ahead and he gained time to get the pole. Track was improving.

You realize nth McLarens didn't finish there laps and would have both jumped him right?
You do realize Alonso ruined Hulks attempt before bragging right?

The other Ferrari is easily faster, even with a bad run at the final corner.

He had to slow too much to avoid colliding with Alonso, no way he could have improved on his previous time after that.

Double waved yellows mean you have to slow down and be prepared to stop...

Just shows that Mika had more competition and that there were fewer races per season.
