How can they punish someone for yellow flag infringements ever again?

They need something else to divert the attention from Nico, so they will make a day of the 107% rule even when we know in changeable condition they wont consider 107%

In the case of Rosberg there will be no further action. But the 107 % issue from Q2 is still discussed, could be a long one #F1
It says they're still waiting for official confirmation.
Dont get your hopes high..but

Actually, seems we have no official wording just yet, just typical F1 journo's jumping the gun:

Sky Sport F1® HD ‏@SkySportF1HD 1m

Ron
Meadows, sporting Director Mercedes, released by the stewards, said he believes @nico_rosberg"will have no penalty."

What is even happening?
As far as I could see it they were investigating the speeding, thus hearing the driver and looking into the data. How can they take it more serious?

By the way: Being serious is not the same like matching your opinion.

No further action warranted. Rosberg starts from pole.

The FIA take way to long to make decisions nowadays, its like they've over complicated their own sport and don't know what to do about penalties. Anyway moving onto strategy tomorrow, its going to be very hot so you don't want to be looking at a rear diffuser all afternoon, maybe SS S S.

Sky is saying it's official now, no penalty.

Double waved yellow doesn't mean anything as it seems.

I hope dad Bianchi's lawyers are writing this down.

If Bottas, both Force Indias and Red Bulls were relegated (it's quite unlikely), then the TOP 10 would look like this:

1. Rosberg
2. Hamilton
3. Vettel
4. Sainz
5. Alonso :wtf:
6. Button
7. Grosjean
8. Kvyat
9. Raikkonen
10. Gutierrez

Wat he did, was go full throttle into the yellow zone, backed off at the first yellow flag, slowing done his speed into turn 8, which automaticly means he was down on speed between turn 8 and 9.

Yellow flag means nothing from now on.

That's it, I've had it with the incompetence of the stewards, see you in 2017..

It's academic but slowing down into a corner does not necessarily have any bearing on your exit speed. See everyone crawling into the last corner in order to make space for their Quali laps, for example.
