FIA´s rules change more than the weather in my area, and it changes a lot. At least the limitation will continue between the formation lap and the start which I think is pretty good.jericho wrote:You mean this:domh245 wrote:Tobi Gruener now saying that the Radio Ban is going to be lifted, and that track limits are no longer going to be penalised, although it isn't clear if this starts for this weekend or not

It could be anything why the gap is closing. Saving tires, saving engine. Lewis managing the gap with Nico, etc.Vasconia wrote:Tyre degradation??Manjhi wrote:I don't know the exact reason, but have seen the Bulls closing the gaps to Mercs after 8-10 laps from the start of the race.flickerf1 wrote: Why would he struggle after 10 laps?
Anyway this is not Monaco and this track is pretty good for Mercedes.
Yes, it would be easier to judge if Nico is leading because I know Lewis wouldnt be saving a sh*t hahaha.WaikeCU wrote: It could be anything why the gap is closing. Saving tires, saving engine. Lewis managing the gap with Nico, etc.
Wouldn't be saving? Lewis has to save all he can. Compared to Nico, he's already on his 5th PU and has none left without taking a grid penalty. He has the confidence of a champion, knowing that saving his tires and managing the gap would mean Rosberg driving in his turbulent air and eating away his tires and because Lewis' tires are fresher, he's bound to go quicker than Nico when in front. Lewis knows that Nico doesn't overtake him that easily, so he knows how big a gap is needed to let Nico stay behind him.Vasconia wrote:Yes, it would be easier to judge if Nico is leading because I know Lewis wouldnt be saving a sh*t hahaha.WaikeCU wrote: It could be anything why the gap is closing. But if Nico is leading I cant imagine Lewis saving too much, I can see him fighting for the victory until the very last lap.(because we have already seen this)WaikeCU wrote:Wouldn't be saving? True. That's why it's crucial for Lewis to be ahead of Nico. Also crucial that Lewis has to create that buffer of points ahead on Nico, knowing when he has to put a new PU in the back, he'll have to endure a grid drop. That will mean it will be most likely he'll end up 2nd if he slices through the field early on. If not, if he's stuck in traffic, I can't see him get by those RB's that easily.Vasconia wrote:But if Nico is leading I cant imagine Lewis saving too much, I can see him fighting for the victory until the very last lap.(because we have already seen this)WaikeCU wrote:Wouldn't be saving? This is why I say that it would be a more useful scenario to see which difference is the real one between them and RB.
It's Spa next up. Hamilton is fine as far as ICE's go it's the other stuff.WaikeCU wrote:True. That's why it's crucial for Lewis to be ahead of Nico. Certainly on a power specific track Mclaren has closed the gap to RedBull, I think Williams & Force India are in serious trouble for the second part of this season.
