A dry race provided for excellent racing, with young Maverick V taking a well measured maiden Moto GP win,
providing the 1st for Suzuki in almost a decade, (&1st for a Suzuki 4T - in the dry).
M.V. jetted off to the front after the race was red-flagged/restarted following a messy backmarker crash on the initial lap.
The contest for second provided the racing spectacle with M.M. throwing caution to the wind, & making off track excursions,
by trying too hard, even if his repeatedly effective passes on V.R. were epic..
Cal rode his 2nd string Honda real well to take 2nd place, & V.R eventually took 3rd from M.M. with D.P close behind.
A.I. crashed after riding through to 2nd in some exciting passes, while his factory Ducati team-mate A.D. stayed cool for 6th,
ahead of an equally quiet J.L..
All in all, the British G.P. was a good one, with the dry conditions being a novelty - that encouraged overtaking..
