i don't understand the upgraded PU will race Sunday or not guys ?

According to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/37503760 Alonso will run the engine in Friday Practise in Malaysia, and they will run it in the race if the engine looks like it's working properly.
He's going to have a 30-place grid drop so I imagine they will give him more than one of the new spec of engine to get him to the end of the year.

in this case i assume the reliability upgrade for more aggressive map ALO don't seem concerned about starting last on the grid thinking he will score points still

In any case if they can finish 7 and 8 for the rest of the year they have a good chance to overtake Williams. If Alonso can make it to 10th or 9th and button gets 6th there will still be a chance to beat them.

There's also this aspect: Honda don't want to start from the back of the grid because of engine penalties in Japan, which is obviously their home race, and immediately follows the Malaysian one.

In this respect you could say they aim to sacrifice a bit in Malaysia rather than have to do it at home.

Maybe, need more time to judge. They may well keep it on all weekend, I hope they stock pile an extra engine so that Alonso has two for the last six races just in case one pops.

Good results in todays practice 1&2 for both drivers. Hopefully tomorrow BUT can get in Q3 and since ALO will get penalty for the updated unit.

The times are looking very good so far in Malaysia second practice.

Honda don't run detuned on Fridays - the others do.

Personally I only really look at quali for an assessment of where the performance is.

People are raving about the new PU but as I understand it there is no out and out HP gain?
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's about efficiently and weight loss?
