You need to leave some space, heil the champion and count on 2014. If you take away the first corner incidents or pushing off track in general, then there is not much left at all in the last two years for either of them. No one wants that, we need a star in the sky not on the car.flynfrog wrote:What about all the times Nico drove past him on the start this year or is clutch use not a driver skill? The save-a-ham crew is getting old

Safety car happens and the lead gets eroded, then it's a natural opportunity to then attack the driver on the slower tires. Genius!!! Hey, but still couldn't win that duel.
And who won last year? Everybody who visits this forum knows Rosberg has no race craft what so ever, anytime he gets engaged with a duel he's either pushing them off track or bouncing off the other vehicle...A-Bap wrote:Really??? Really??? You realize that you're saying that anytime a driver is fully overtaken, and then takes the position backsome time later, it "doesn't count?" What logic!holeindalip wrote:PlatinumZealot wrote:So in both videos Lewis immediately retakes the position so those passes by Rosberg are not complete.
Thank you!!
As well, in the Austin example, Ham boxed right after getting passed, so that doesn't count either? Please...
I do apologise, I thought it was an honest yet blinkered question originally. I didn't think we're playing a game of mental gymnastics. You did see that Austin '15 clip right? Where the driver in question completed an overtake of teammate with perfectly fine racecraft.holeindalip wrote:And who won last year? Yes ,I saw it. But, please can you show any more proof from any other time besides race starts??Nuvolari wrote:I do apologise, I thought it was an honest yet blinkered question originally. Given that race starts are almost more important than qualifying (almost), one could say that only one driver on team Mercedes has cared enough to secure the championship through the thing that matters (with regards to the Mercedes league).
If on track passes mattered as much to the championship as YOU think they do, Lewis would be winning. So yes in that way you are correct.
However, they don't, and while Lewis has been perfecting his "on track passes" Nico has been getting on with the championship and things that matter.
The New DR has arrived. Maybe he can help Lewis with his foot.
Edited for grammar.
No race craft? Please be careful with your terms else you'll not have any credibility. Nico went from last to third at Malaysia with relative ease. We can argue who has the best race craft, but to say that he has none and "everybody knows it" is perfectly silly.holeindalip wrote:And who won last year?
