very true and it wasn't all redbull chassis and aero cause ricciardo couldn't pass for positions like max.

the under braking is one of max best tools along with his movement under braking.

Fantastic race, ROS will be happy that RB messed up with that, HAM will be sorry but.. I am Verstappen fan. Got a bit choked-up when the crowd went Senna-Sehenaaa during his interview on the podium. I hold Senna in high regard surely never to be replaced, not only for a driver but as a person too. And I don't think VES is a new Senna. But such a great compliment. His race was outstanding. a never-to-be-deleted recording.

Hey guys! I watching a race and heard about this new Dutch kid that might be pretty good. His dad used to race in f1. He's named something kinda strange, like Sherflappin or something. Have any of you heard of him? Is he any good? Somebody said he could pass other cars really good or something like that.(I'm not sure) Any opinions?

I've seen him, all hype, just luck. Just like the iPhone in 2007. Give it a year or ten and he'll have a bad race and we'll all say: "told you so"

But for reals. I hope for the rest of the field that RedBull makes a crap car the next couple of years, this kid is very methodical. Looks like he makes mistakes only once, got a "todo list with achievements" he has to tick one by one and so far, no end to his learning curve. The last few races he's getting the upper hand over his very highly rated teammate.

To be fair to Nico, he did a very good job so far. He has been pretty fast when things are going smoothly.
Hasn't been the best, but i will say he is one of the most precise drivers in qualifying and also a very good "cruiser"; if that's a new attribute to ascribe to a driver.
Hamilton will lose because of reliability but not because Nico didn't do a very good job. But something just tells me that something shocking will happen in Abudhabi.
Nico's luck as been excessive so far, something has to give. lol. Maybe a gear or two?

i have gone through so many comments stating Nico will not be a worthy champion etc etc.
Even last year after winning championship "Lewis" did not win remaining races , why ? because he was done with the job in hand , no need to push bit extra .
same thing applies to Nico , he has all right to manage his championship in his own way. His objective is to become champion and do not take unnecessary risk. there is a virtue called "consistency" and he has exhibited that whole year. i know he has been bit lucky but you always need bit luck to become champion. Vettel has mega experience at that front .
i guess if Nico wins the championship then next year he will be back with more belief and strength to compete with Lewis.

Rosberg is a lucky guy. If redbull didn't do that intermediate tire call he would have been 3rd. And for the whole season he has to thank Hamilton's engines that broke down. On a regular weekend he has little chance of beating Hamilton.

I wonder why they didn't use the VSC? It would have provided more appropriate feedback regarding race resumptions and enabled better tyre preparation.

Lewis never looked threatened, and Rosberg can consider himself lucky getting 2nd. That said, he kept it on the island, unlike many other drivers. He's doing what he needs to do, which isn't thrilling, but I'm sure he won't care if things pan out in his favour.

Rosberg had great drives this season so I don't think a possible championship for him is based on luck. He is getting too much hate. But him crying about the race going on, saying 'how many crashes do they want to see' was a bit childish and immature. AND it is clear that Lewis is a better rain driver. Now let's hope for a clean fight in Abu Dhabi and see who comes on top.

Max, Perez, Nasr, Lewis, Ocon, Hulk drove so good today. And Fernando coming back to points from 17th is worth a shout I guess.

Worthy?

It's actually damning that Rosberg hasn't sown it up already. He has been in by far the best car with a team mate who has had to race with one hand tied behind his back due to his team's inability to give him a reliable car whilst Rosberg's car has been almost bullet proof.
You could use many words to describe Rosberg's title but worthy will never be one of them.

To Nico's credit, he also got a team principal who is going door to door begging drivers and their dads to tell them not to race Nico. Has that happen ever before?
