Damper Test Experimental

Damper Test Experimental

Post

Hey, So I've been doing tests on a quarter car model using a passive damper and 2 springs. The software being used is Engineering Data Management and Post Analyser. I also use accelerometers from PCB electronics. I want to plot a hysteresis curve between Force and Relative displacement to find out the Damping Coefficient,c, but accelerometers give only acceleration values and not displacement.

Therefore I used the toolbox of Post Analyser- still the displacement obtained from it(`0.4 mm) are inconsistent with the observed displacement (~5 mm).
Can you help me out with a solution, please? :)

What's the lower frequency limit of your accelerometers?
