Language. 200 points of internet F1 ignorance speaking #-o .

- Mercedes created most of this fake drama with Rosberg's pitstop. No letters to mob about it? Why no team orders, why no undercut?

- Verstappen runs out of talent at the start, drives into other car, whines about space. Awful qualifying, awful start but at least he was 'visible'. Like 80% of the season, not good enough.

- Pure racer Hamilton slowed down after 2 stops. Not pushing 100% is against your nature? Phony.
- Red Bull kept MV with the sole purpose of blocking Rosberg and visibility. F1 = circus. Lost the race to Ferrari too.
- With Ferrari and RB drivers Merc shouldn't worry about '17. Different but equally trademark lack of performance from all 4 of them.

Great drive by Hamilton, trying every trick on track to win, even in the face of the team pulling for his team mate. Out qualified and took more wins than his team mate and only let down by the engine. Rosberg is undeserving of being called "champion".

I don't get it, wouldn't Hamilton have wanted Nico out of Drs range on the last few laps? Vettel was hunting him anyway? Even if 3rd was fine for Nico, could have potentially had contact with Vettel?

Well done Nico !! =D>

Hamilton fanboys, dans79, GPR-A, Kanye West, Rihanna, hipsters, social media keyboard warriors, Ted Kravitz, David Croft are left shivering in the cold, hard shadow of the Rosberg's 2016 World Championship.

Hamilton you should be ashamed of yourself, absolute embarrassment! Glad your little attempt at race fixing failed miserably as Rosberg took it!!!!

Well done Rosberg on the other hand for not losing his head in all of that and finally becoming WORLD CHAMPION!

Only embarrassment is two other teams still could not gain a place while the lead driver was twiddling his thumbs.

RB and Ferrari better show up with a much better package next year.

So again no wdc talk in this topic. There's a separate topic for that.

Mercedes are so quick that, even driving so slowly it's unsafe for the car, they are too fast for Ferrrari and Red Bull. Thank god there are sweeping regulation changes over the winter.

Shame to see Button retire. Palmer #-o . Verstappen on Hulk, totally predictable :( . What happened to Ricciardo? Nice last hurrah for Massa, catching and overtaking Alonso.

Thanks for the conversation and insights, folks. Onto next year!

Vettel and Hamilton talking and ignoring Rosberg. Rosberg had to get a hug from Bernie instead! Ha ha.

Too much radio chatter in F1 now. Drivers all sound like petulant teenagers crying when they don't get things their own way. Time for FIA to make the radios 1-way only, from pit to driver, and only for safety critical comms. 2-way comms. only available after an incident to ensure driver safety. All other info. can be passed via the pit boards.

Let him find some happiness while he can, because he'll have to spend the whole next year in pain watching Rosberg as champion.

This has been one of the worst ever F1 seasons. The WDC was as contrived as the word can be defined. A real shame on F1.
