Amen.

Did not overtake his team mate once on track.

Still no article on why Rosberg finished 2nd in the last 4 races...i thought last year that Hamilton lost his edge because he came 2nd in the last three races! :P But at least we got to see what a straightforward battle between the two would have been had Hamilton not blew 3 engines...oh yeah Nico's car management, i forgot!! :P Well done Nicola!! =D>

P.S.1 Must feel a bit harsh for Hamilton this year (a bit like Senna 89)...i expect him to shutter some morale next year! :P Watch out where Rosberg will be after at last clinching a title...Hill, Villeneuve, Raikkonen and maybe Button comes to my mind!!
P.S.2 At least now Hamilton is going to have another World Champion within the team...unlike Vettel and Schumacher who only had No2s'!! Maybe he'll take a bit more credit if he wins any more championships while they are teammates!

Hamilton did what any other driver would have done, it was up to Nico to pass Hamilton or at least pressure him into speeding up if he was going too slow. I f it had been the other way round Hamilton would have been parked on Nico's gearbox pushing him down the road. Rosberg has won the war.......this year.

Bring on next year lets have more drivers fighting in the last race

Congrats to Rosberg. There's a saying that "You can only beat what's in front of you." and Rosberg did that by scoring more points than Hamilton's total.

Whilst we can point to various mechanicals on Hamilton's side, that were undoubtedly a significant factor in the WDC, we don't know how the races would have unfolded if Hamilton had won Malaysia (for instance). How much was Rosberg pushing in the last few races, knowing that coming second would be enough but a DNF would likely lose him the championship? Perhaps he was racing every second with 'the knife between his teeth'? Or perhaps he was doing exactly what was required to win the WDC with minimal risk?

That freakish bad luck doesn't look so freakishly bad when Toto, Nikki and Paddy are all on tenterhooks watching the guy in back. Mercedes gets the results they pushed for. Least deserving WDC in modern history, but Nico is a WDC regardless; congratulations on that, by hook or crook, they all look just as impressive in the record books!

That Mercedes is one power house, Lewis moves into F1 aristocracy with his stratospheric results and records, can't fault his driving this year, today was a master class in controlling a race from the front.

Mercedes should sack Hamilton and make him drive for Marussia... :) He's the most sore looser I have ever seen! :D Rosberg is a gentleman when you compare him to Hamilton... lol

First of all congrats to Nico for winning the his first title.

Really don't understand when Paddy asked Lewis to up the pace in risking of losing the race to Vettel. Lewis happens to be the one in front, the one that controls the pace. Paddy, you really think that the Merc is +1s down on pace compared to Vettel's Ferrari? It was just majestic how Lewis controlled the pace up front. Let them bunch up in the technical slower sector 3. I mean gap between the Merc came to 0.6s in Sector 3, before he managed a gap of 1.1-1.3s to Nico when heading up the DRS zoned straights. It's up to Nico to make the overtake for P1, which he didn't. I thought he was going for a win as usual? :-s

Thought it was funny during the podium ceremony where Lauda stood next to Arrivebene. Not that I'm figuring more behind that. :D

This was F1 at its finest: chess at 300kph. I want to see more of that next year, not less.

Hamilton won more races and more poles than the Champion. I think this is the first time it happens in the era where all races count. And it must be the first year that the Champion had not a single technical glitch dnf...Mercedes failed Hamilton in many ways. And it becomes more suspicious the fact they switched team personnel from one side of the garage to the other. I think in end they did not want one of their driver (Hamilton) grow bigger that the team by winning all the time. The way they control racing between their drivers is worse than Ferrari. Ferrari at least they have been honest with their approach. Mercedes want to control everything but show they let their drivers race free. but they actually don't let them. If McLaren-Honda is able to produce a championship winning car I think Hamilton will go back to McLaren and try win it with Honda powered engine like his idol Ayrton Senna did. Especially if Alonso quits in the end of 2017 or even join Ferrari and turn the tables around...He does not need to stay in Merc anymore. The glass is broken.

No matter the PR talk in the end of the race thanking the team etc they all know the situation. That's why he disobeyed the instruction. He feels the title has been robbed from him and it was his own team that did it to him. I am not sure he's staying beyond 2017 even though there is a contract until 2019 or 2020...

Well deserved? Let'sexplore that shall we.
Beaten 10 wins to 9
Beaten 11 poles to 8
Only need 5 engines to his team mates 8 (eight).
Had his team pleading and crying for him during the last race because his team mate was daring to try and win the WDC without the teams say so. Which totally brought his team mate needing 8 engines right back into focus.

Yep totally deserved.
