Well I have to say few things about this season:

- HAM is better and faster driver than ROS. But I didn't want HAM to win since he's terrible primadona off the track. Great driver, terrible character. Aside from his whining, I generally do not fancy 30+ guys with earrings, tattoos and baseball caps listening to crappy "music" taking selfies and snapchats publicly. I know that this is subjective, but this guy is so "metrosexual" it hurts me. Sorry, my opinion.
-ROS is likely to be WDC with only one title- in the mould of D. Hill - really not great driver but rather result of situation/circumstances . But I'm glad he won though.

-season was very boring and uninspiring, apart from few moments - maybe only thing that stood up was VES Brazil drive

- VES will be multiple champion. I do not fancy him, but he's got what it takes - skill, self confidence and conviction he's got the right to win. traits of all multiple champions

- the character of noise and moreover lack of it is killing F1 in my eyes. Hell, I enjoy more watching GP2 as runner up races

- I am actually happy that MAS and BUT are gone. Way too long blocked places for young talents

- still can't understand why Renault retained Palmer. he should go, he's not F1 material IMHO

- ALO again punched above his weight, it is a shame he's not in competitive car. as HAM - great driver, not a great person. although I think he's changed for a better bit during these few years with McHonda

- VET proved to be mediocre when not driving far superior machinery than others; being overshadowed by Kimi in my view in the latter part of the season. I have to admit, I am Kimi's fan. I like his driving and sportsmansip. VET's whining got really annoying lately

- HAAS did unbelievably good job

-I just hope one team doesn't dominate so much in 2017+; but I think it will happen in this new "aero" formula

I would not count it on the starts. The start is always difficult. Without crashing in China R and Baku Q, he would be WDC easily. Ros tried to throw it away as good as he could (Austria and Germany running wide). There is nothing any of the two can complain about but themselves.

No he did beat him 10 times to 9 and 11 times to 8.
He also beat him in the needing engines stakes 8 engines to 5 as well.
And Rosberg beat Hamilton 385 to 380. Ultimately that's the only statistic that counts. Please stop bunching that same bag.

Unrelated: Although this is a dumpster topic, it is still very upsetting to see how some people can't find to bring themselves to just say "look Hamilton had bad luck and should have won it, but Rosberg certainly is not undeserving towards the title." The lack of sportmanship from some here is very pityful to say the least.

Lewis needed 6 ICE's and they stock upon other components at Spa .

yes, this last 2 years yes. I'd say he's grown a bit as a person - for good. I am actually fan of him. great driver, great fighter. But one has to admit he had his dark moments during his carreer.

So you're going to try to control what people think and write in here too? Perhaps you could post a list of acceptable phrases we can use on the forum?

Or perhaps you should just let us race...

Kimi did fine at quali at the second half of the season. But in races still Vettel kept beating Kimi one after another. In last 10 races, Kimi finished twice in front. One in Singapore when Vettel started last and at Malaysia when Vettel made a mistake at the start and DNF'ed.

Absolutely agree.
Real Nico Fans are probably rare. (I'm not a particular fan of him - I think he is good but not great).
Lewis haters also. (I'm no Lewis hater - I really respect him as a race driver, he is one of the real outstanding drivers, I perhaps respect him a little less as a personality). But Lewis Fanboy haters are not so rare. I am one. Some on here seem to switch of their brain when it comes to Lewis. Love Sick comes to mind.
They denigrate other people, can't stop insulting everyone who is not worshipping Lewis, etc....
As you can see: I for one fall into this category.

I agree. But I'd say there were few times when FER screwed Kimi during race - strategy, pitstops. but as I said - I am bit biased, since I'm Kimi's fan.

Personally I think the 1950's concept of sportsmanship is highly overrated, and exaggerated.

Here's a different way of looking at Hamilton vs Rosberg

In their 4 seasons together they have completed 60 virtual 19 race series against each other.

If we use the standard scoring system Hamilton leads 37-23

If you use a 25 minus finishing-position system ( rewarding all finishes) Hamilton leads 34-26

So Hamilton has been the better driver.

But a world championship ratio of 2-1 would seem fair if a little ungenerous to Rosberg.

I think Rosberg deserves this title, not only for his performance this year, but because all these years he kept his head down and made sure he's there when he has to be. Not a small feat in my book. Also, with all the controversies but kudos to Merc who made things more or less even.

Granted. However, I am taking an issue when we have people accusing eachother of being sour losers, fanboys, haters, ... . The majority around here should be adults, but I don't notice a lot of it right now. Which is very dissapointing since the topics started out very constructive and people where actually debating instead of well... whatever you call it now. My only wish is for members to show more respect against eachother.

Anyway, I'm working through the topic and I am taking action against people not following forum guidelines.
