Maybe they would have gained a bit more publicity and consequently money since F1 fans have been sick of seeing Mercedes win 52 of the last 60 races!
I do not see the F1 rules giving that option. Winning is money. Not winning is less money.

Oh, that was his intention? That is so nice of him. At least one person that is not selfish
AMG.Tzan wrote:The old saying "it's one thing to get close to Senna but getting past him is a different story" matches to Max, although i don't like comparisons with Senna!!
The comparisons with Senna fail when you crash stupidly in turn 1.
We can of course praise him as the new Senna in every race he is good and forget about the other 50%. But all I know about Senna is, that he was no 50% driver, no matter at which age.
I hope for Ves that we do not rather have to compare him with Montoya or Grosjean in the future.

Well...this is the point of a sector with a track layout like Monaco followed by a sector with fast corners...no idea why it is not easy.
Even if you watched F1 for the first time in Abu Dhabi, Ves vs Vet and Ves vs Ros showed, that it is far from simple to overtake here. Season after Season it shows, that it is a nonsense track painted on a big parking lot with a stupid layout.
