He's been outstanding this year. It's amazing to think he even missed a race and drove with broken ribs in another. McLaren and Honda just please give him a car to challenge!
Looking forward to McHonda next year too with SVD! Alonso's record against hot young rookies is pretty abysmal.
Really? He's beaten Grosjean, Piquet and he drew with your boy hammy (who was had extensive testing before the season) so not really actually haha
Man it must really sting to be a double WDC one of the highest rated drivers on the grid, with years of experience and losing out to a kid that just shows up in the sport. Can lighting strike twice?

There are some fanatics behind Alonso...that just can't grasp the fact that 1)he is over the hill,
2)according to mechanics anonymously talking to press: could never successfully help develop a car,
3)scandalously won one if not both wdc....
4) is the most expensive pay driver on the grid (Honda demanded him because the CEO is a nutswinger, Honda pays his salary and gives free engines and development to Mclaren in exchange that Alonso is the driver. No different than bank of whatever paying for Maldonado in days of old)

Not saying he always sucked. I think at one time he was above average. But he is hardly top tier and when people try to argue that he is the best driver on the grid..,I just don't know...

(I can feel the vibrations in the air of Alonso fanatics shaking furiously with tears running down their faces while they pound their responses on the keyboards about how some pundit says Alonso is the best... They need to Take a deep breath, looking past their photo of David Hasselhoth and over to Fernando, finding their calm happy place and remember:

What I have is called an opinion, and it's mine! Don't worry...the world is still spinning!

I see you are afraid of having a practical debate and looking for a way out with this statement. Otherwise, there was no need to put this piece of BS. Suits you well. It's probably for a reason that you remained an amateur racer all this while.

I guess there are two kinds of people.
My kind thinks 109 is equal to 109.

I don't know why you are so happy that hammy drew on points with Alonso 10 years ago when neither of them won the the championship anyway. Oddly, you seem to be in a boasting mood considering what's just happened lol bizarre!

Easy, it's an open wound to some fans that's easy to poke at.
