The Manor F1 Team is on the brink of collapse, as the team has now appointed an administrator in an attempt to secure the team by finding a buyer. The team confirmed it had failed to find a worthy partner itself, meaning its 212 staff are currently in an unsecure position.

I'm quite saddened by it, but atleast the shutdown was done professionaly, without baillifs or employees not being paid out. This is what exactly happened in 2014 to the team. I do understand it's still a difficult situation for former employees.
Maybe the return of Super Aguri to help Honda sort their engine....ESPImperium wrote:There are people looking at buying the team assets for a possible entry next year. Id expect the teams assets to be bought by a single purchaser and then an entry to the 2018 championship to be sought in the next few months. However all the Manor/Marussia team wear stock will head to auction id guess.
Sad to see them go, but if there can be a new team with no links to the past, ill happily support them as F1 needs two or three smaller teams on the grid, and I'm sure that there would be a power unit manufacturer to two that would happily supply a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th team.
