Piquet's helmet is definitely in my top3 too... or my top1

I can dream each helmet since 1997 until now.
I like the follow helmets.
- Jean Alesi (love the chrome helmet)
- Jos Verstappen (you can see this design back in Max helmet!)
- Michael Schumacher (white version is better or the chrome Suzuka helmet)
- Senna
- Nico Rosberg (blue yellow helmet)
- Coulthard (RedBull helmet)

Hill, Hunt, Piquet, Hakkinen & Villeneuve recognisable but boring.

yeah i scratched about that leap of logic there too. I think it's not a sense of not thinking the first mentioned are not boring, but rather preferring those exact drivers.
I for one hate Alesi's chrome helmet, but absolutely love his original white version.
I also can't understand how Coulthard's RB helmet would be better than his normal Scot helmet.

for me, the most memorable moment was seeing Coulthard wear Schumacher's helmet in the Mclaren. How awesome did that look. Just Imagine Schuey ever having
driven for Mclaren.

I also really enjoyed Bruno Senna's helmet. that stopped me right in my tracks, vividly remembering his Great Legendary uncle.

i can't upload the picture but Fernando showed a preview of his helmet and it looks like a Bell.
Also Stoffel during the Honda event in Japan last year was using a Bell. McLaren switched from Arai to Bell?

Hmm, no red on top, not even red pin striping. Looks like he's joining Sauber. :P
He's reverting to the less red, more light blue, darker blue & yellow color scheme.
I think he had one when he was with Mild Seven Renault and one year with Ferrari. The only red were the two red stripes of the Spanish flag.

I hate the white sponsor (West) stripe.

The Redbull helmet look more aggressive without the white sponsor (West) stripe.

But this is my opinion

IIRC, that was during the ING sponsorship, not Mild Seven

Sainz training with a Stilo lid. However, I think this particular model isn't FIA approved for F1...

ah i see what you mean. i vividly hate the redbull logo as prominent on the side though.
I prefer Coulthard's Williams helmet, above both to be honest.

BTW, it's really a shame that Josh Hill stopped his motorsport career in 2013. I really had interest in his career and wanted to see how he would fare in F1. Imagine that, the first family line that would provide 3 f1 drivers through grandfather (Graham), son (Damon) and grandson (Josh). His helmet was awesome too - a great example of how simplicity works.

Same design as his father's - which was same design to HIS father - yet a couple of brighter teints of blue. I really liked that.

I've always imagined Josh Hill driving for Mclaren or Mercedes at some point. Sadly, that will never happen.

I was genuinly more interested in him than Mick Schumacher to be honest.

Lol, that's pretty cool.
Am i the only one who still thinks this looks and is much wider then 2017 spec cars?
just look at the width of the suspension and the wheels?

or are my eyes just simply playing tricks due to the narrowness of the nose, the less wide front tires,
the absence of big brake ducts, and the narrow front wing and sidepods?

also @cmf1 : that's a extremely pretty lady in your avatar, who is that?

without looking to far into the figures, I'm pretty sure the 91 spec cars had wider tyres. So that gives it its wider appearance.

and thank you. It's me 8)
