When I saw that Roc car land on top of wherleins head I had Instant flashbacks of jules. Even tho he got out and walked and i know some post inflamation must have happened. Poor chap probably been suffering from headaches since.

And as we speak:

Wehrlein to miss first Barcelona F1 test

He'll be replaced by Antonio Giovinazzi, since he's already in the factory to do a seat fit.

This reminds me of the one legendary Michael Schumacher who was rumoured to make a comeback in F1 back in 2009 to replace the injured Felipe Massa, but because he had a bike accident and injured his neck, he wasn't fit enough to do the job.

I was thinking actually exactly the same, yeah.

Would be interesting to see how the deal looks concidering that three teams are involved and hear the reasons for not going with a Merc affiliated driver.

The Merc Driver is broken

There are not many 3rd (reserve) drivers around for the 2017 season

Or you might as well put Gutierrez back in that Sauber, but then I wonder why you should, because you would still only notice one Sauber on track. :P

You skip tests to recover more fully for the part that really matters.
