They had their own concept and continued to develop, just like other teams continued theirs (clear to see). New car doesn't mean they throw away all WT and race data to pursue some new concept (too many variables).
Visually it looked as if they ripped off bits from last year's nose
and the way they described it (Green) confirms that.
