Let's start after the TR launch. : )
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

2. Ferrari
3. ToroRosso
4. Renault
5. McLaren
6. Force India

9.Williams
10. HAAS

from what I think it will be:

Tough one, but let me take a shot here:

1. Mercedes
2. RedBull
3. Ferrari
4. FI
5. Mclaren
6. Renault
7. Williams
8. STR
9. Haas
10. Sauber

Its nearly impossible to predict what will happen this year. Mercedes will probably retain its 1. place but i expect RedBull will snacth more victories away from them, maybe even some other team as well. Ferrari will be the third force on the grid waiting for the first two to make a mistake to claim their positions. I believe FI will be strong from the start, i seriously dont like the car visually but i believe there is a firm reason for such radical look it has. I hope Mclarens aero will work and that Honda makes the engine comparable to others so i predict them 5th place overall with outsdanding races and races which they will want to forget quickly. Renault will make a large step forward but i believe they will be a midfield team. I honestly do not expect alot from Williams since their form is decling year after year but i might be very wrong. STR made a stunning looking car, but i fear they will fade trough the season in a way the did in last few years. Haas will be in lower midfield, showing great pace at some races due to their ability to nurse the tyres. And last will be Sauber due to the simple fact that their year old engine wont be able to propel them to fight others which will develop even further. I believe that their biggest chances for points will be first few races, when others might struggle with reliability problems of their new engines.

1.mclaren
2.red bull
3.mercedes

i can find a reason why mclaren can not be 3rd ...last year i see some fights with mercedes customers....and i dont believe ferrari (ok i am hater) ..this will be a development race year ..does matter the starting point so much and mclaren have for years very good and fast in season development ...we dont know the silver bullets or the critical errors of the cars ...if mclaren have ace somewhere ...maybe can be the black horse ...and i hope so ....

This is the list I think will be the general pecking order throughout 2017.
1. Red Bull
2. Mercedes
3. Ferrari
4. McLaren
5. Toro Rosso
6. Renault
7. Williams
8. Force India
9. Haas
10. Sauber

Although I think Toro Rosso and Renault may surprise at the beginning and McLaren/Red Bull (on engine) might have more difficult start.

So long as Honda engine development has gone to plan I reckon

1. Merc
2. Red Bull
3. Ferrari
4. McLaren
5. Williams
6. Force India
7. Torro Rosso
8. Renault
9. Haas
10. Sauber

I just can't see Force India managing to keep up with the development pace of the bigger teams as everyone gets used to the new aero rules and brings new parts etc. Also not sure their tyre friendly philosophy will suit the new tyres like it did the old ones.

I reckon the Ferrari has been the most interesting looking on launch, with their innovative side pod approach which is the the first time in a long time that has been said of a Ferrari F1 car.

Toro Rosso 9th? They would be 4th last year with better engine. They could be 9th, if Renault fails. But then Red Bull goes down too...

My prediction:

1: Ferrari
2: Red Bull
3: Mercedes
4: Toro Rosso
5: Force India
6: Renault
7: McLaren
8: Williams
9: Sauber
10: Haas

good point but i dont think toro rosso have the resources to keep up with a lot of the teams when these new regulations where created. I also dont think the ferrari engine developement was worth more than 0.4-0.5 seconds from the end of 2015 to 2016. this still would have left them in the midfield far from red at the end of last year

looking at the car today though i would say they are more likely 8th ahead of haas and maybe renault at a push. but renault will definitely out develop them.
