Indeed, that rear squat under full DRS is mightily impressive!

Surely the converse is true once DRS is active and the downforce is removed off the rear wing?
They clearly have some suspension trick as here is the RB13 coming thru a corner with the huge rake turned back on.

I wonder how long it'll be before the other teams claim it's illegal...

McLaren now seem more confident.

I am not so sure if this topic isn´t a bit overrated. The cars produce a very high amount of downforce at higher speeds, that would have them pushed down anyways. There is something going on, but it´s natural to have diving cars at high speeds.

I'm pretty sure that's the general point of testing.

Gary Anderson:
t's interesting that Hamilton has produced the fastest time of the day so far at the start of a long run on soft tyres, and it gives us a potential insight into what the Mercedes could be capable with on low fuel. If he did that 1m21.7s with around 80kg of fuel on board that would be worth around 2.4 seconds - so a 21.7s becomes a 19.3s. If he had a race-starting fuel load of closer to 100kg then the potential lap time could be even faster. It's unlikely Mercedes would do a long run like this on a much lower fuel load, as teams need to learn about the tyres when they are under the most stress, and that comes early in a race when the cars are heavy.

22 laps, at least they are doing a more normal job like other teams. Today we are seeing fewer laps and yesterday.

You seriously expect them to show pace in the first couple of laps they run? With the new engine that already had several issues yesterday, if we are to believe Alonso? #-o

No i just want them to run a bit faster than 5 secs off pace....say 2 secs.

Looks like Force india may have done it again! Produced a good car on a shoe string.

Currently closer to Ferrari than Williams.
