Is anybody else kind of getting irritated by Gary Anderson's crush on Ferrari? I mean Ferrari does look to be a strong contender, but each time Gary posts something, it's to slime about Ferrari. What about Haas, Sauber, Force India,... ? Not the most objective reporting if you have to ask me.

Again, nothing against Ferrari. They do seem to be becoming a threat for Mercedes.

Man, I know I say this every year, but that site they used to have where you could see the laps everyone was going - and from it the lengths of stints times were set on etc. - was so cool :(

Well after 3 years of the same about Mercedes and 4 about Red Bull before that, isn't it a nice break?

And the car is no slouch either, 1.20.5 on soft tyres, is a decent time.

GA is a comedian. I find it hard to believe he actually took part in an F1 team. Sometimes stuff he says makes perfect sense, then other times it is outright bogus.

I do agree that the Ferrari crush is a bit annoying. He keeps stating how consistent the car looks going around the same turn. Well, ever think that the driver might be consistent? A good driver could make consistent lap after lap in a pig of a car.

I'm really waiting for him to take a line from a Toyota commercial and say "that car really looks grounded to the ground."

I am complaining about the reporting. I'd extremely like an increase of competition at the very front.

They (they media) might be trying to build some hype to increase views, shares and clicks. If they start to tell that Mercedes looks like absolutely the best car everywhere the attention goes down.

An healthy-looking Ferrari is always good for the media.

And to add, GA was making fun of Grossjean's late braking. But if you remember right, the Haas had some major braking issues last year. Perhaps Grossjean is testing the brakes, during testing. What a thought??

Gary Anderson talks in soundbites, and even then he still ends up with a serious case of foot in mouth syndrome.

Or maybe Arrivabene has him on payroll to create some good PR while Marchionne's vultures circle?

Is Gary watching our boards :o ? We have a none-Ferrari post from him =D>
The Red Bull is a deceiving car to watch. It has done a decent enough lap time today but because of the docile sound of the Renault it doesn’t seem so quick and it's harder to pick up when it's on a quick lap. But it looks stable. There were a couple of wobbles through Turn 2 getting the power back down on the way up to Turn 3, probably more wobbles than most others, but Ricciardo was pushing on quite hard.
