All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

- energy recovery from MGU-K will be less than in 2016 because of shorter braking time, therefore MGU-H will become more important
I don't get it. The braking time will be reduced but the braking power will increase as the total braking energy will remain unchanged or even increase because of higher speeds and larger weight.
But the MGUK portion of the braking power will remain at 120kW.

Oh... I thought it was the limit for the MGUH only. Now I got it, thanks.

Ferrari PU 2017 is powerful.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Even if the MGU-K wasn't limited to 120 kW, it would still probably lower because of the lower top speeds and reduced speed lost from higher cornering speeds.

Andy Cowell has said Merc PU is also heavier giving the same reason.
The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.

Unless I misunderstand, this would imply them both being above the regulated minimum engine weight?

Everyone believe that?
