Okay fair enough that is your opinion (although completely bias). I think that any team McLaren of Ferrari that has another disastrous year will have people leaving, either it will be Arrivabene or Vettel has you over and over claim it will for sure. Or it might as well be zac brown (just after the fall of big ron), or Hasegawa (just after the sack of Arai) or even Alonso he looks a lot more impatiatent than vettel and has proven to be impatient several times. Lets see how much longer he stays in a team competing with a GP2 engine.

But the reality is that we don't know what will happen and the only thing I see is "Ferrari tops day 2 as McLaren hits more trouble" (courtesy of F1Technical). But again it might be the other way around come melbourne.

Although at this point I have the impression you are here just to vent you frustration

I'm not frustrated. I don't have quite the emotional ties to these teams or drivers that other people have.

Ron was sacked by the board for failing to secure sponsorship.

Honda isn't going anywhere even if the team flounders around in the midfield.

Ferrari is a much more toxic environment based on the pressure from Marchionne. The team and the company would be better with him locked in a closet somewhere. Everyone wants to win, but the pressure is high at Ferrari. If they win, great, but if they don't, it won't look good. It looks like races might be a bit more competitive this year. We shall see.

Yeah I agree with that post. But still think any team like Ferrari McLaren and in near future Renault will have a huge pressione to win. Ofc there is pressure and then the fear climate that marchinne seems to out that is totally harmful sometimes

Since Bottas is only signed to a one year deal, I'd say Mercedes replaces him with Vettel or Alonso if Bottas doesn't perform to a similar level that Rosberg did.
I appreciate your passion, but don't agree with your assessment. This is F1. You're only as good as your last race. Your post has an assumption that Bottas will do poorly, and while I also feel Hamilton will absolutely maul him, if Mercedes wins the WCC they won't see the need to seek a replacement. Say, Bottas comes within 30-40-50 points of Hamilton? Why would Mercedes get Alonso who's in his last leg over Bottas who I don't think has peaked? Will they risk a Vettel who's known to get upset when team mates beat him? It makes 0 sense to the ambition of winning the WDC & the WCC.

Vettel will no doubt be looking for the best seat in 2018 whether that's Mercedes or Sauber. Honda and McLaren come with a racing pedigree and outstanding history along with a fat pay cheque but he has all of this at Ferrari and the ONLY lure will come with the bait of a winning car which begs the question? If McLaren have or are on the cusp of a winning car then why will Alonso leave?

There are too many variables in the 2018 driver market and at the end of it all, the stop watch will decide who lands up where. If I were you, I'd not count Bottas out and I certainly certainly wouldn't undermine the talent of Vandoorne. If he fulfils his promise, Honda might not need a superstar world champion in the other seat.
"Sebastian there's very, you're a member of a very select few.. Stewart, Lauda, Piquet, Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Fangio.. VETTEL!"

Yes, there are a lot of 'ifs'. I used a lot of them in my post. There could potentially be a lot of driver movement among the top teams around Monza.

I agree that Vettel won't leave Ferrari unless there an enormous crisis, but I don't agree that he wouldn't want to be on the same team as Lewis. In the best car Vettel will be unstoppable. He's better than Rosberg, more ballsy and ruthless too. I'm sure he would prefer competing for the title with Lewis in equal cars than trying to win a few races in an inferior car with no real chance for a title.
I would love to see Seb vs Lewis in equal cars.

I don't know how you believe he is better than rosberg. But after seeing what happened in his last year in redbull; i don't think it is wise for any top driver to team up against lewis.
For Sure!!

4 titles to 1

I'd take Sebastian over Lewis in that instance.

Imagine the mind games Vettel could play by speaking in German exclusively!

That's my point. You can see the tension building over the last two years. It's obvious a lot of effort went into the car this year. If it fails to win races and challenge for the championship, the pressure from the top is going to cause an implosion. Allison was smart and got out of there. I see Vettel likely leaving, too, especially if a Mercedes seat is open.

People seem to forget when Alonso left Ferrari to jump into a noncompetitive Mclaren because of a fallout with the team; funny, it appeared like that was happening last year with Vettel. I'm not a big Vettel fan, but if that's his only option outside of Mercedes, I see that happening.
The pressure in Ferrari is sometimes surrealistic because actually the team has produced 3 quite competitive cars so they are not doing such a bad job. I think he will continue in Ferrari in this season is reasonably good.

Because you can't post anything in the car threads these days without getting warned by mods or at least posts moved.

Interesting from Haas:

“To come out here with a new engine, a complete new engine, and be this reliable, it is amazing. If you look at the other ones around, and they are no dummies, they have quite a few issues.
